Folk Art Angel~Hope~ OOAK Mixed Media Painting~SOLD

This was an old shudder door which I removed the inside from and added a ¼ inch plywood. The textured background was painted in acrylics with various colors and designs. I then painted a sweet folk art angel named "Hope." She wears a ¼ inch thick polymer clay dress which has a small metal embellishment that says "Hope". The dress has lots of texture and embellishments, sprinkled lightly with glitter. The frame was painted barn red and crackled. The whole piece measures 26 x 9 x ¾ inch thick. Lots of detail to this One of a Kind Mixed Media Art. Will now be hanging in CA.

Heart of Darkness~Make-do Valentine Heart~OOAK~SOLD

Recently joined a new art group called "Because We Believe-Art". They were having a challenge this month with a theme of "Heart of Darkness" so I created this heart shaped make-do. It is made of leather like fabric. I painted this gals face with crazy purple, pink hair and put her on a rusty bedspring. She was lots of fun to make. Will make a doll next time. :o) This made do heart now resides in IL.

Fabric Art Doll with paper clay Flame hair~OOAK~SOLD

Just had to make another art doll with paper clay hair. This doll is made of muslin fabric and painted with acrylics. Her ears and hair are sculpted with paper clay then painted to make it the flame part of a candle. She sits on a vintage candle holder and wears a tea stained doily skirt with lace for the top. Lots more things for sale in my etsy shop.

Good Witch Gertie~OOAK Witch Doll~SOLD

Just completed my little Gertie. She's a good witch and loves to go shopping! She's all decked out and ready to go out on the town! Made of muslin fabric, this little 32" gal has soft sculptured facial features, wired fingers and wrists. She was coffee stained with an even tone so that she doesn't look too primitive. Facial features were painted with acrylic paints and so were her gloves, stockings and bodice. Gertie can be displayed in seating position or hung on the wall. Gertie has now moved to Canada! I will miss her. :o(
