Love the way this set turned out. Here is Edith (30 inches tall) and her baby Samantha (9 inches tall.) They are both made of muslin fabric, coffee stained and baked to give them a primitive look. Samantha is looking up at her momma and thinking of how beautiful her momma is! :o)
They have now moved to Wisconsin.

Ahhhh....this week I was into making witches. LOL....Next week....who knows? Just completed my little old hag, Ida. She likes to collect bats and has collected enough to make herself a gorgeous bat dress and hat to match. She measures 30 inches tall from boot to tip of hat. Sculptured facial features, painted gloves and stockings and felted wool hair. She has wool eyebrows and some little hairs around one of her warts!!! Yikes!!!! What a witch! :o) Ida moved to IL to be with her cousin Emelda!

It's been pretty chilly here this week. Only in the lower 60's. Oh, I can't wait for mid July when we can see temps of at least 75! I worked on a pin cushion doll this week and this is how she turned out. She was painted with heat set oil paints and sits so pretty on a shelf or can be displayed by the sewing machine and used as a pin cushion. Pins are placed in the crown of her hat. :o)
