Just complete my project. She turned out to be a primitive witch bride dated from 1809. She was stood up at the alter 100 years ago and is still looking for her beau. She searches day and night with her little red lantern that actually lights up. This gal was made of muslin fabric and coffee stained for a prim ole look. She has now moved to GA.....I think she'll find her love there. :o)
I've decided to try and create something with this little lantern. Thought I'd make a doll, but not sure what kind until I made the head. Now I know she'll be a witch. What kind???? I don't know yet but I'll see as I go along. She should be done in a day or so. :o)

Meet Pricsilla and her best friend. These two were made of muslin fabric, coffee stained slightly to give them a prim look and painted with acrylics. The cat measures 28 inches tall and the mouse 4 inches. These are one of a kind dolls created and designed by me. They now live in AL. :o)

Recently joined a new art group called "Because We Believe-Art". They were having a challenge this month with a theme of "Heart of Darkness" so I created this heart shaped make-do. It is made of leather like fabric. I painted this gals face with crazy purple, pink hair and put her on a rusty bedspring. She was lots of fun to make. Will make a doll next time. :o) This made do heart now resides in IL.

Haven't made a cat in a while and thought I'd put one together for Valentines Day. Here is an 11 inch cat made of muslin fabric and slightly coffee stained to give him a prim look. He has painted facial features, sculpted paws and 3-D claws. He hands you a skeleton key to his heart. :o) He has now moved to WA.
This is my new Valentine Doll for 2009. She has hearts galore with her crown, bodice, nose, eyes, lips, gloves and feet! This gal was made with muslin fabric and painted. Her skirt has heart prints and is made of cotton fabric. She has now moved to PA.
