Art doll Mammy Kate was made of muslin fabric and coffee stained to give her a primitive look. She measures 32 inches tall and has brown acrylic eyes. She wears coffee stained bandanna and apron to match. Her quilt was distressed to give it an aged look. Scissors and tape measure were also given the look of age.
Hi....I live in Northern Maine where you can see snow for at least 6 months! I've been married to my wonderful husband for 36 years. We have two grown children. Our son, a West Point graduate now serving in the U.S. Military as a Green Beret with a Special Forces Team based in Japan. He travels all over the world and we are very proud parents! We plan to visit him in the fall. Our daughter is married and lives in the Mid-West. She and her husband have an ebay store called fashionbloomusa. They also has a website at http://www.costumealibi.com
They sell lots of fun costumes, swimsuits, boots and lots more! Both kids live far away from us and we don't get to see them very often, so, you can imagine how much time I have to spare. Plenty of time to sew and create some adorable one of a kind art dolls. I've been making dolls for a few years now and always look forward to a new challenge. I design most of my own patterns and sell them or the finished product on etsy, patternmart or ebay. Hope you'll get a chance to view some of my items. :o)
